 Health & Safety General Appplications Regulations ( Regulation 55)

In accordance with Regulations 52 to 59 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Applications) Regulations 2007, and specifically Regulation 55 which deals with excavators, telehandlers, loaders etc when used as cranes.

All lifting equipment must be examined and tested at specific intervals (either 12 or 6 months) by a competent person who must produce a written report of their findings.
Ormond Plant Hire will test and inspect these machines in accordance with the above regulations and will report the findings via Form GA1 as endorsed by the HSA..  Many contractors are tendering to local county councils and to major civil engineering companies, which require them to have a high level of compliance with all the construction and general work legislation.
